Our Performance Series short blocks start with seasoned GM or Ford blocks that go through a rigorous inspection process before our block shop performs a complete machining process. Our balance shop provides our assemblers with a balanced assembly consisting of a new Wheeler nodular crankshaft, Wheeler reconditioned connecting rods with ARP rod bolts, and Wheeler forged pistons. Our assemblers then add Hastings rings and King high performance rod and main bearings. All clearances and tolerances are set for performance and reliability.
