Componentry
Starting with a forged aluminum, fully CNCmachined housing, the Wheeler Pro-Forged Distributor also includes a .500”steelshaft utilizing a ball bearing and is available with a cast steel or bronzedistributor gear.
MechanicalAdvance
Wheeler Pro-Forged Distributors feature an easilyadjustable mechanical advance system (centrifugal advance) utilizing a choiceof advance springs and stop bushings. This allows for quick and easy timingmodifications.
Cap and Rotor
Wheeler Pro-Forged Distributors incorporate injection molded Rynite caps withplug-style (HEI-type) terminal connectors, very strong with outstandingdielectric properties. Our rotors feature the same properties and are built forhigh heat and high rpm applications. Set screws deep in the body help preventspark scatter and allow for high rpm use, additionally the design creates airturbulence to resist spark ionization.
